Maango ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website maango.io and the Maango API. Maango is an AI policy registry that aggregates publicly available machine-readable policy signals from websites across the internet.

When you join our waitlist or create an API account, we collect:

  • Company name (optional)
  • User type (agent builder or website owner)

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring URL

We use Vercel Analytics and/or similar services for basic website analytics. We do not use invasive tracking or sell advertising.

API Usage Data

If you use the Maango API, we collect:

  • API queries (domains looked up)
  • Request timestamps
  • Usage volume

This data is used to enforce rate limits, improve service quality, and generate aggregate (non-identifying) statistics.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not crawl, store, or index the actual content of websites. We only read files that are specifically designed to communicate policies to automated systems. If you are a website owner and want your domain removed from our registry, contact us and we will process your request promptly.
